I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management at Tilburg University, supervised by Ulrich Laitenberger and Florian Pethig. My main research interest is in digital platforms and online labor markets. I completed a Master's in Research Methodologies in Management Science (orientation in Information Systems) at IE University under supervision of Luz Rello.
Methodologically, my research lies at the intersection of causal inference, applied econometrics, and machine learning. I leverage quasi-experimental econometric designs (such as difference-in-differences and regression discontinuity setups) to identify causal mechanisms and policy impacts within digital platform ecosystems. Alongside traditional empirical modeling, I integrate machine learning techniques to handle large-scale, high-dimensional observational data, uncover underlying heterogeneity in user behavior.
